A.J. Westbrook
Junior
Defensive Back
6’0″ 186 lbs
After spending his freshman year playing on special teams and a reserve secondary spot, Westbrook played a big part in the Noles defense in 2016. He played in all 13 games and started 8 after Derwin James went down with an injury. Westbrook got off to a rocky start as he struggled against Louisville, but by the end of the year Westbrook was playing very well and his play helped solidify the Noles defense toward the end of the season. Being pressed into action last year and going through some growing pains should pay off in 2017 as he’s now a seasoned veteran that should play a large part in the Noles secondary this year.
