James Blackman is a true freshman quarterback out of Belle Glades, Florida. A 4* rated quarterback by Rivals and Scout in the 2017 class, Blackman is a long athlete with a strong arm. Somewhat the forgotten QB in the most recent class with Bailey Hockman enrolling early and being a bit more polished out of high school, Blackman has reportedly really impressed the coaches in fall camp. Though most thought the backup quarterback spot would be between Hockman and upperclassman J.J. Cosentino, Blackman is reportedly in the mix as well.

Levonta Taylor is a sophomore out of Virginia Beach, Virginia. A five star and the #1 cornerback in the nation out of high school in 2016, Taylor saw action as a true freshman in 12 games last season, with an increase in field time toward the end of the season. A phenomenal athlete with blistering speed, Taylor won the starting field corner spot this fall. Depending on personnel and opponent, Taylor could also slide into the star position as well. Taylor will need to be up for the challenge as it’s likely he could get more balls thrown his way with the opposite corner, Tarvarus McFadden, being a preseason All-American that led the nation in interceptions in 2016.
