#7 Ryan Green
Ryan Green
RS Senior
Running Back
5’10” 204 lbs
Ryan Green enters his RS Senior year in Tallahassee with a career filled with injury and bad luck. After showing some real promise in 2013 at running back, Green played in just 7 games in 2014 while battling injuries. There was also a running back named Dalvin Cook who burst on to the scene that season and so the staff moved Green to defensive back for the 2015 season. That season was lost to a shoulder injury and for the 2016 season he moved back to running back, but by that time, Cook had become the workhorse in the backfield and Green was somewhat a forgotten man. Enter 2017 and the Noles have as probably their 4-5th string running back a guy that would probably start for more than half of the teams in the ACC. A luxury for the Florida State, but a string of bad luck for a player that has done nothing but do what he’s asked his entire career and been a model player and student.

Ermon Lane
Senior
Defensive Back
6’3″ 209 lbs
Ermon Lane is a former 5* wide receiver that now resides in the FSU defensive backfield. After showing promise as a freshman at wide receiver where he played in every game, including two starts, Lane’s production fell off as a sophomore and he struggled to get the confidence of his quarterback or coaches back. Buried as a backup to start 2016, Lane asked to move to the defensive backfield after the Noles were beset with injuries early in the season. He saw his first action as a safety against Miami and ended up starting 5 games providing a physical spark for the defense. Lane will begin the season serving a backup role, but will most likely see the field on a regular basis in his new position.
