Cyrus Fagan is a true freshman safety out of Daytona Beach, Florida. Fagan was a 4* out of high school this year and one of the top ranked safeties in the county. With a loaded secondary in 2017, it’s unlikely that Fagan will make much of an impact on defense, but the Florida State coaching staff does like to use their athletic young defenders on special teams so it’s not out of the question he’ll see the field. This is of course dependent on his health and he is currently out with a knee injury, the severity of which has yet to be determined.
