#1 – Tyler Hunter
Defensive Back – 5’11” 200 lbs – RS Junior
Tyler Hunter returns to action after a near career ending injury last year. He started the first 3 games of the season in 2013 before suffering a neck injury that had some questioning whether he would return. With hard work and determination, Hunter rehabbed and got himself ready to go. In 2012, Hunter played in all 14 games and started 3 games. He tied for the team lead in interceptions and finished second among cornerbacks in tackles. After his promising sophomore season, Hunter was expected to be a key part of the 2013 secondary. While the Noles had the talent to overcome a loss to the starter, they are certainly glad to have an experienced player of his calibar returning to the secondary.
#1 – Ermon Lane
Wide Receiver – 6’3″ 206 lbs – Freshman
Ermon Lane comes into Florida State with high expectation and the promise of making an immediate impact in the Seminole passing game. That’s with good reason as the 247Composite 5* and 3rd ranked wide receiver in the nation of out high school is the highest rated high school receiver recruit to come into Florida State in over a decade. He has everything you look for in a wide receiver with size, speed, route running, and ball skills. It might take him a few games, or longer, to adjust to the speed of the college game and get comfortable, but odds are Lane will be special for the Noles.
