#10 – E.J. Levenberry
Linebacker – 6’3″ 246 lbs – Sophomore
E.J. Levenberry comes into his sophomore season after a quietly impressive freshman year in 2013. As a 247Composite 4* prospect and 7th ranked inside linebacker in the 2013 recruiting class, Levenberry was projected to be good. Finishing 9th on the team in tackles and making the impact he did in playing in 13 games and making one start was still a nice surprise, though. In fall camp this year, Levenberry seems to have the edge in winning one of the starting linebacking roles working mainly in the middle. With a fantastic combination of size and speed, Levenberry could have a break out season and become the next in a long line of outstanding Seminole linebackers.
#10 – Sean Maguire
Quarterback – 6’3″ 220 lbs – RS Sophomore
With the departure of Jacob Coker and some solid play in the spring and summer, Maguire reportedly has a tight grip on the backup quarterback job for the Seminoles. Maguire is quiet competitor that showed his grit and resolve before even stepping on campus. While the commitment of the #1 quarterback in the nation and hyped 5* Jameis Winston might have scared off other potential quarterback recruits, Maguire never wavered and relished the challenge of competing against the best for a chance to lead the Noles. That determination now positions him one play away from being the Seminole signal caller with a chance to win the starting job in 2015 (if Winston does indeed leave early). Maguire possesses a strong arm pocket passer style with athleticism to keep the defense honest if need be. Obviously, you don’t just replace the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, but if the Noles were forced to turn to Maguire, he has the ability and surrounding team to still be a national title contender.
