#23 – Freddie Stevenson
Fullback – 6’1″ 237 lbs – Sophomore
Freddie Stevenson was recruited to Florida State as a linebacker, but moved across the other side of the ball during the season to back up Chad Abrams at fullback. Stevenson impressed in limited time showing some natural ability carrying the ball and a willingness to put a helmet on somebody blocking. Even though he only carried the ball eight times for 33 yards and touchdown Stevenson had no problem locking down the starting role at fullback. This season, in addition to his role as a lead blocker, Stevenson might get some short yardage and goal line opportunities.
