#24 – Terrance Smith
Linebacker – 6’4″ 222 lbs – RS Junior
Terrance Smith made a big jump last season as a redshirt sophomore. After redshirting in 2011, Smith spent the majority of his time playing on special teams units in 2012. Last season he started 10 games, all at middle linebacker for the Noles. His entrance into the lineup was part of a big shakeup that saw Christian Jones move back to the outside and really helped solidify the Noles defense after some performances that fell below expectations. He finished fourth on the team with 59 tackles, 2 sacks, and an interception. He was named Honorable Mention All-ACC after the season. Heading into 2014, Smith is the only returning starting linebacker and expected to be a leader on the Seminoles defense.
