#37 – Keelin Smith

Defensive Back – 6’3″ 187 lbs – RS Junior

Keelin Smith is entering his redshirt junior year this season and thus far has played only a reserve role and special teams.  Smith has excellent size and versatility and, most likely, would be a starter on most other ACC teams.  With a loaded secondary the past couple of seasons, however, Smith has been relegated to back up and garbage time play.  He has already played in 25 games in his Seminole career and tallied 16 tackles and an interception last season.  Heading into the fall preseason camp, Smith looks to be battling Nick Waisome in a backup role to Ronald Darby.
