#42 – Lamarcus Brutus
Defensive Back – 6’0″ 202 lbs – RS Junior
Lamarucs Brutus is a defensive back out of Port St. Lucie, Florida. Brutus saw expanded action in 2013 after playing in just 6 games as a reserve safety in 2012. Last year he saw action in 11 out of 14 games playing a role on special teams and as a backup in the defensive backfield. He finished the season with 16 tackles and one pass breakup. Originally a 3* prospect out of high school, Brutus will most likely continue his contributions on special teams, but could see an expanded backup role as a safety after the graduations of Lamarcus Joyner and Terrance Brooks.
