#46 – Kain Daub
Linebacker – 6’4″ 243 lbs – Freshman
Kain Daub was one of the prized members of the 2014 Seminole recruiting class. Rated by the 247 Composite as a 4*, Daub was ranked as the 4th best inside linebacker in the country. He was an Under Armour All-American and participated in the game of the same name this past January. Daub also was a First Team Class 8A All-State selection in Florida. The linebacker enrolled at Florida State in January and was able to spend time with the team in off-season conditioning. He was not permitted to participate in spring practice, unfortunately, due to an NCAA Clearinghouse issue (the same situation as former high school teammate Demarcus Walker endured last season). Although he missed the time actually practicing, he was able to be on the field and soak up the mental side of the game. He could battle for playing time as a true freshman this year and will almost certainly be a part of the Noles special teams.
