#64 – Jamie Dukes

Offensive Guard – 6’0″ 272 lbs – 1982-1985

Jamie Dukes is simply one of the finest lineman ever to come through Tallahassee.  He started every single game in his 4 years the moment he stepped on campus.  In 1982 he was a Freshman All-American.  In 1983 and ’84 he was named an Honorable Mention All-American.  He 1985 he became Florida State’s 5th NCAA Consensus All-American and the first offensive lineman to earn that distinction.  Elected to the FSU Hall of Fame in 1991, Dukes also enjoyed a successful pro career.  In 1986 he was signed as a free agent by the Atlanta Falcons and went on to play in 110 games for the Falcons over the next 8 seasons including 48 as a starter.  He finished his career with one season each in Green Bay and Arizona playing in 124 games and starting 62 games.  He joined the NFL Network in 2006 and has been providing jovial coverage of the NFL on the network ever since.
