80 Days Until Seminole Football

#80 – Rashad Greene

Wide Receiver – 6’0″ 178 lbs – Senior

Rashad Greene could walk away today and be etched in the record books as one of the most productive receivers in FSU history. He needs just 42 catches to become to career leader in receptions.  He needs 1,133 yards to become the career leader in receiving yards.  He needs 9 touchdown catches to become the career leader in that category, too.  Last season, he 76 catches were the 2nd most in a season for a Seminole wide receiver and his 1,128 yards were the 6th most in a season and the first 1,000 yard season for a Nole since Anquan Boldin in 2002.  So, how has he accomplished all of this?  Consistency.  He consistently runs good routes, catches balls thrown his way, and has the intelligence to know when and how to take his routes.  He is an unquestioned leader in the locker room and works hard on and off the field.  While possibly not the most explosive receiver in FSU history, the most physically dominant or future NFL star, Greene will undoubtedly go down as one of the best wide receivers to play in Tallahassee.
