#85 – Jeremy Kerr
Tight End – 6’5″ 251 lbs – RS Freshman
Jeremy Kerr is a massive tight end out of St. Petersburg, FL. Kerr most likely would have seen some playing time last season after the transfer of Christo Kourtzidis and injury to Kevin Haplea, but Kerr himself was injured in fall practice and underwent surgery. Mainly a blocker on the edge in high school, it is widely speculated that Kerr has the ability to come in and make an impact from day one in that area. However, with Nick O’Leary returning and Kevin Haplea recovered from his knee injury, the Noles shouldn’t have to expect too much out of Kerr this season. That said, I imagine he’ll get plenty of snaps in jumbo sets in short yardage and goalline situations.
