Yesterday, we looked at how the performance of the Florida State defense stacked up against the defenses of our opponent’s opponents. Today, we’ll do the same thing, but with the Florida State offense. In this chart, you want to be as close to the top. What that says is your offense performed better against that defense than any other team this year has. Well, not surprisingly, FSU has either the best or second best performance against all but one of our opponents.
You’ll notice that the Noles are about to face two polar opposite defenses int he next two weeks. First up is an Idaho defense that has given up 7.00 yards per play or more in seven games. That’s bad. That’s followed up with a test against a Florida defense that has held six teams to 4.00 yards per play or under. That’s excellent.
