TT members I saw make an appearance at the Prime Spot: FSUGlommer, Mr. Peanut, dukenole, SeminoleBob, roadkill, DOCFSU85, JBaker, chefnole, LilburnNole, PrimeNole, nicknole, LilburnNoleDadFSU73. My apologies if I’m leaving someone out.
It all got started Friday night at the Civic Center. westfsu, who parks there for each game said it was the most RVs he’s ever seen there and I can concur when driving by that morning I don’t remember ever seeing that many there. JD was able to make it by there for a bit on Friday and it looks like they had a great time.
A very long, but excellent day. I have no clue when roadkill got there, but I’m sure it was before sunrise….
It was.
We pulled in about 9:15 with a bag full of Chick-fil-a biscuits and a truck full of stuff. We were missing two Prime Spot stallwarts on Saturday in slnole, who had to make a surprise trip up to NC to take care of his dad (bad back) so keep him in your thoughts and prayers, and JD, who showed the kind of loyal friend and awesome kind of guy he by sticking at the house with his injured buddy who couldn’t make it to the game. Set up was complete about 9:30-9:45 and we were able to catch most of Gameday on the TVs (and the Boston Red Sox Parade for the couple of Sox fans in attendance). Went up to the top to check out Gameday from above, too.
We had a pretty good crowd gathered around for the Corso’s picks by 11:50. See if you can spot: LilburnNole, SeminoleBob, nicknole, LilburnNoleDadFSU73, dukenole, Mr. Peanut.
westfsu also got a couple pics from Gameday:
We had a surprise guest as the Most Interesting Man in the World Stopped by to check out the awesome tailgating bar that chefnole custom built and brings for some games.
He wanted several other photo ops, too, so we obliged.
We had fun checking out the gameday signs as people walked back to their cars after Gameday. My personal favorite:
A great time was had by all the rest of the day and it was one of the larger Prime Spot crowds I can remember.
Prime himself made an appearance!! Pictured here with FSUGlommer
As is common at the Prime Spot, a lot of people hang out and watch the game there and it was no different on Saturday:
I was really impressed with the students on Saturday as they were almost full 50 minutes before kickoff:
Packed house just before kickoff:
The largest post game fireworks celebration I’ve seen at Doak. It lasted a good couple of minutes.
